THE MECHANISM OF ENSURING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE'S INDUSTRY IN AN UNSTABLE GEOPOLITICAL SITUATION

Summary

Ukraine's entry into the stable development trajectory requires effective management mechanisms aimed at significant growth of innovation activity, intellectualization of the main production factors, as well as the formation of such production and economic systems that are capable of providing GDP growth and new quality of life on an innovative basis.
Scientific provisions on the problems of developing mechanisms for managing the stable development of enterprises in the real sector of economy are sufficiently substantiated in the scientific works of famous scientists. Many approaches have been developed in the theory and practice of governance to ensure the sustainability of industrial enterprises as a basis for the competitiveness of the national economy. However, there are some gaps in the coverage of issues related to the formation of a mechanism for ensuring the sustainable development of enterprises in an unstable geopolitical situation. Therefore, the issue of improving the mechanism for managing the stable development of enterprises in the aspect of a holistic approach to their functioning in the national economy and ensuring synergetic effect in solving strategic problems of the real sector of the state economy is extremely urgent.
The purpose of the study is to improve, on the basis of the systematic approach, the theoretical and methodological principles of the concept of forming a mechanism for ensuring the sustainable development of industrial enterprises of Ukraine in an unstable geopolitical situation, the implementation of which will increase the level of competitiveness of the real sector of the country's economy.
Theoretical and methodological basis of the work is a set of principles and methods of scientific research: principles of system analysis, systematization and theoretical generalization, methods of comparative analysis, structural and functional analysis, comparative and content analysis, system-dynamic approach.
Stable development management techniques and tools are specified to identify the sources, nature and directions of change to ensure sustainability; the definition of the “stable development management mechanism” category was further developed; analysis of the places currently occupied by Ukraine in international rankings by major economic indicators; the mechanism for managing the stable development of industrial enterprises has been improved, which will help to increase, on an innovative basis, the level of competitiveness of the national economy and the quality of life of the population in accordance with world transformation trends.
The most important characteristic of industrial enterprises operating in an unstable environment is stable development. In terms of sustainability, enterprises have advantages over other entities in attracting investments, implementing STP results, and so on. The higher the level of sustainability of an industrial enterprise, the less it depends on the unexpected change in the external environment. The high degree of competitiveness of industrial enterprises and the country as a whole is characterized by the existence of formation mechanisms and ensuring conditions, means that underlie their development and increase of well-being of the population. However, the analysis of the places currently occupied by Ukraine in the ratings of international organizations on the major economic performance, unfortunately, indicate its low level of development. Therefore, the implementation of our mechanism of ensuring stable development of Ukrainian enterprises will help to solve this extremely acute problem.
